Rosacea
A chronic inflammatory skin condition that tends to affect the face. Rosacea tends to affect the cheeks, forehead, chin and nose and presents as persistent redness due to dilated blood vessels. It tends to be more common in women but the effects appear worse in men. It can be triggered by UV light, cold, heat, stress, spicy food, caffeine, alcohol, exercise, genetic factors. Studies show that skin surface bacteria also have a part to play.
Treatments
