Tear Trough Fillers
The tear trough is the area underneath the lower eyelid and above the cheek. Age changes in the skin, bone and underlying fat pads can produce the appearance of deeper troughs giving a tired look. As the delicate skin under the eyes thins, the underlying blood vessels become more apparent giving a bluish tinge. A similar process happens with eye bags when the skin loses the strength to support the fat pads under the eye giving way to herniation.
